70 days to maturity. Just Sweet is a snacking pepper and a 2019 All-America Selections. The fruits look like small, stretched-out bell peppers. They are about 3 inches long with four lobes. They ripen to a bright, shiny golden yellow, sometimes with a touch of orange. Each pepper has thick walls, thin, delicate skin, and a crisp, crunchy texture.
The flavor is very sweet, with a little tartness and an aromatic note. In consumer taste tests run by AAS trial judges, Just Sweet came out on top by a wide margin. These peppers are great raw as a snack or packed in a lunchbox, and they also work well sauteed or stuffed.
Just Sweet pepper plants grow about 36 inches tall and 15 inches wide. They were bred for a strong, upright, bushy habit with sturdy stems, so they don't require staking. The plants are vigorous and produce a heavy crop.

Sow seeds in sterile potting mix, eight weeks prior to your last expected frost date. Plant seeds at a depth equal to two times their thickness. The optimum soil temperature is 80°F. Germination can be erratic. The most common cause of poor germination is the result of uneven planting depths.
Transplant only after night temperatures average above 55°F. Plants are tender and thrive in warm weather. Blossoms drop if temperatures fall below 60°F or if they get too much nitrogen.
