Jimmy Joe Tomato

90 days, indeterminate — 'Jimmy Joe' is a nice pink tomato on regular leaf plants. The fruit are juicy but firm, can get quite large (weigh between six to twenty ounces), and are globe to oblate in shape. It is a very nice slicing tomato.

Sent to us in 2002 by author and tomato authority Craig LeHoullier (NC LE C), who received the seed from John "J.D." Green of Sevierville, Tennessee.  J.D. is the same person who we can thank for making 'Cherokee Purple' available to gardeners by sending it to Craig. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
