Howard German Tomato

93 days, indeterminate — The regular leaf plants of 'Howard German' produce red, three to nine ounce, paste-type tomatoes. There is a lot of variability in fruit shapes which range from an elongated pear to ones that look like frying peppers. The flesh is dry, meaty and tasty. Excellent for sauce and paste.

'Howard German' is an old, pre-1900s heirloom variety. Our original seed was sent to us by our friend David Pendergrass in 2004. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
