It has several possible health benefits and is significant in some forms of traditional medicine. Has a peppery, clove-like flavor with notes of basil and mint, and can be used in cooking.
Tender annual. Sow seeds directly outdoors after last frost, or 4-6 weeks before last frost indoors, and transplant outside.
