SKU: 3310311We use them fresh, in any dish that calls for fresh sweet peppers, and at the end of the season when we are saving seed, have way more than we can eat and are in a hurry, simply toss fresh strips and chunks of them into freezer containers and use them throughout the winter. One on Mike's favorite uses for the frozen peppers is to take a handful, sauté them in some olive oil with fresh onions, and use that mix as a topping for homemade pizza.
'Hajduczek' is a non-commercial variety that originated in Poland and was sent to us in 2008 by seed saver, Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus (BELR BA A).

These peppers are a perfect one to grow anywhere. They grew well outside in my hot and humid climate in raised bed and in containers. For fall and winter, I planted some in my aerogarden harvest xl and they are growing fantastically well, too. I topped them once and haven't needed much trimming since. They produce quickly, grow several nice size fruits at once and taste delicious cooked or raw, red or green. The picture is of my first harvest from aerogarden. Definitely a keeper for all seasons.

First time growing this pepper, won't be the last! Produced very sweet fleshed red pepper with minimal effort or attention.

I’ve grown hajduczek the last two summers and it has thrived. We have wet, heavy soil and it has no problem. The peppers are tasty and the plant is compact and sturdy (though I do stake it). I will grow this every year.

Really tasty! Grew only one this summer in favor of red bells, which didn't perform well. This one did. Gonna grow a LOT more of this one next summer. Really delicious pepper.
