25 days - Also known as 'White Globe', 'Hailstone radishes can be planted in spring or fall. The roots develop into pure-white skinned, globe shaped radishes. The flesh is firm, crisp, tasty, and remains that way for a long time.
Planting Instructions:
Radishes are generally very easy to grow. They are best when sown in spring or late summer but with care can be planted from February to September. Plant small amounts, 5 to 7 days apart for a steady supply.
Plant seeds directly outdoors as soon as soil can be worked. Plant ½ inch deep, ½ inch apart in rows at least 8 inches apart. Firm soil and keep moist until seedlings appear. Radishes have shallow root systems so do keep them watered.
Harvest as soon as roots reach desired size.

This radish seems to require a lot of moisture consistency to get started, but once it germinates, the results are great. Roots are small and nicely flavored -- but the surprise winner on these was the greens! The spines cook away neatly when wilted in a little butter or olive oil, yielding a tasty side dish (I added them at the last minute to Lima beans for a fall succotash).
