The bags are sturdy. The handles are well-located so that they don't flop over into the soil and get in the way of the plants growing. This is GREAT because another good brand has a floppy-handle problem. I'm only a few months into using them, so I can't comment on long-term use, but so far they're standing up well to cucumbers and squash. 10 gallons is a practical size. Victory Seeds is a great company too!
