Improved Golden Bantam
(aka Golden Bantam 12-Row)
Yellow Sweet Corn

85 days — Although some folks' prefer the smaller ear size of the original 'Golden Bantam', others prefer the larger ears of 'Improved Golden Bantam'. As its name implies, is an improved version of the old standard yellow sweet corn. Instead of eight rows of kernels, this variety has ten to fourteen rows and the ears are slightly longer. It was also selected to stay tender longer.

'Golden Bantam Improved 10 to 14 Row' was introduced in 1922 by the Everett B. Clark Seed Company of Milford, Connecticut and was developed as a selection of the 'Golden Bantam'.[1] Each ounce is approximately 70 to 100 seeds.
