Galilee Blend Larkspur is an annual flower grown for its tall spikes of fully double blooms. The color mix includes carmine red, lilac, salmon, blue, pink, deep purple, and violet. Plants reach about 3 to 4 feet tall, growing well in the back of a garden bed, where the height adds structure without blocking shorter plants.

Bloom time runs from late spring into early summer, and in mild climates flowering can continue through fall. Larkspur reseeds readily, a single planting often comes back on its own in following seasons.

Note: all parts of this plant are considered poisonous if consumed by humans or livestock. Keep it away from pets, grazing animals, and children.

Larkspur grows best with 1-2 weeks of cold stratification before planting it. They can also be planted in the fall, and will germinate in the spring. Larkspur is difficult to transplant, so it's best to sow the seeds directly into your flower bed. Cover seeds lightly, no more than 1/8" deep. Space seeds 4" apart, thinning to 10-12" after germination.
