Strawberry seeds must first be cold-stratified for a month before planting. After stratification, sow strawberries indoors 8-10 weeks before your last frost date. Keep moist until plants germinate in 2-3 weeks. Once true leaves emerge, transplant into plug trays. Once all danger of frost is over, transplant outdoors, 12" apart.
