95 days — The vigorous vines are productive, yielding fruit that are nearly round, six inches in diameter, a deep glossy green-black in color, with shallow ridges. Averages two pounds with excellent quality, yellow flesh. It is adapted for use all over the United States.
'Ebony Acorn' was selected and released by the Ferry-Morse Seed Company of Detroit, Michigan for darker color and more uniform shape from a breeding line of Dr. Henry Munger of Cornell University. Introduced in 1957. Each packet contains two grams, which is approximately 20 to 24 seeds.
