Dwarf Jeremy's Stripes Tomato

Solanum lycopersicum

Price: $3.95

SKU: 3404681

Mid-season, dwarf — The rugose, regular leaf dwarf plants of 'Dwarf Jeremy's Stripes' produce very heavy yields of round, two ounce (on average), orange colored fruit with green stripes, and an excellent, well balanced flavor.

The "Kiwi" family originated from a cross made by Sherry Long between a selection of the Dwarf Tomato Project's "Lazy" family and 'Dino Eggs'. 'Dwarf Jeremy's Stripes' was selected and named by Robin Bort. She told us that she named it after her,  "... beloved orange tabby cat named Jeremy." Key contributors included Craig LeHoullier, Lee Newman, Justin Sieglaff, Bill Burke, Suzanna Dzejachok, Bill Yoder, Nicole Diana and Desire Sommers participating in the development of the variety. Bill Minkey grew out the final selection. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.

★★★★★ Delicious tomatoes
By Joe (Hawaii) on June 8, 2023

I'm growing these in a Kratky hydroponic setup along with some other dwarf varieties. These plants are the hardest and grew the fastest out of the 4 varieties I'm experimenting with (Adelaide Festival, Rosella Purple, Bendigo drops). It is producing well. I haven't had to support the plant really, it's just sprawling on my bucket. It's probably 2-3 feet long.

The fruits are a good salad size and taste delicious. It's an orange tomato with green stripes, so you get the sweetness from the orange, but good tomato acid to balance it out. They're delicious!
