70 days, dwarf - 'Dwarf Bendigo Rose' has rugose, regular-leaf plants that produce lots of globe to slightly plum shaped, pink colored, large cherry-type tomatoes that average about one to two ounces each and are very tasty. Excellent in salads and for snacking.

'Dwarf Bendigo Rose' is the result of a selection made from the "Snowy family" by Gregg Muller, who also named it. He and Susan Oliverson carried out the majority of the subsequent stabilization work, aided by Craig LeHoullier. Bill Minkey produced the release quantity of seed, which was introduced in 2018.

Sow seeds indoors (do not direct sow into the garden), using sterile seed starting mix, 6 to 8 weeks before your last expected frost date. Plant 1/4" deep, water lightly but keep moist until emergence.

Full light and cooler temps (60° to 70°) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.

Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

Easy to grow and gives plenty of pink cherry tomatoes! This tomato plant grows about 3 feet tall (dwarg and determinate). I grew my plant in a 10 gallon grow bag. One plant will give me about 25 pink cherry tomatoes. Crack resistant to rain. But, this plant is disease prone (got early blight). It will die in the middle of summer. However, I am fine with that. The reason being that I got the fruit before it dies. As for the taste, it has acidity and sweetness. Also, very creamy texture (not watery). Great and reliable tomato plant to grow if you are limited for space.

I have grown this Tom for 2 years now and I love it. It not only produces a ton of perfectly sized large chrrry type fruit in the garden but also produces great potted in my greenhouse in winter. Super sweet, perfectly firm but not hard. Its flavor is amazing but not overpowering. Perfect little tomato.
