SKU: 1000131Cosmos typically grows thirty six to sixty inches tall but can reach up to six feet. Plant in an appropriate location such as the back of a flower bed. You may need to stake and tie to keep upright.

Genetic Classification: Open Pollinated
Cosmos are easily grown from seed. They germinate quickly and can be sown directly into the ground with great success after the danger of frost is past. Barely cover the seed with soil as they need some light to germinate. Cosmos will self-seed if you don't deadhead them.
Cosmos will tolerate overcrowding but prefer spacing of at least 1 foot. They bloom in the summer into the fall, and prefer partially sunny and dry locations.

I started my Victory cosmos seed indoors under lights, early, as Cosmos tends to bloom late. I saw excellent germination, and amazingly, blooming started by May while they were still in pots waiting for warm weather. Now planted out, they continue to bloom. Very pleased with these cosmos seeds.
