Celosia ‘Scarlet Plume’ has been a favorite in summer garden landscapes for years. These heat-loving plants reach a height of 20 to 30 inches and produce striking, feathery red blooms that retain their color beautifully in both fresh arrangements and dried bouquets. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before your last frost date. Celosia seeds require light to germinate, so don't cover them when planting. Sow seeds directly onto the surface of your seed starting mix. Seeds will germinate in 7-10 days. Transplant outside once all threat of frost is over.
