Sow valerian seed in cell packs or flats in the late winter to early spring. Press the seeds into soil and barely cover. Kept at 70° F. germination is in 21-28 days. I bought a packet of valerian flower seeds. I planted them according to the instructions, and a few weeks later I had some sprouts growing and I continued to take care of it. However, to my dismay, the tiny seedlings later died. I am very disappointed.
