50 days — A dwarf plant with notched, small oval shaped leaves that are two inches long. Used in salads and as a cooked green. It has a mild, peppery flavor similar to that of nasturtium leaves. Sow in spring or fall and use in a cut and come again fashion.

This is the best type of cress for home gardeners and is generally slow to bolt. It is a biennial in zones 5 through 9. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 325 seeds.

Sow in spring or fall. It will grow in the winter months whenever there is a warm period.
Cover seeds with ½ inch of fine soil then firm lightly. You can either seed in a bed or in rows 1½ feet apart. Make successive plantings to extend your harvest.
