★★★★★ Cute and sweet
By Bob Cook (S.W. Florida) on April 19, 2025

There are two surprises with Purple Zebra tomatoes; 1. This hybrid plant is practically disease-proof. When six other varieties in the garden got the usual late season fungal leaf spots, this vigorous plant was spotless. 2. These larger than a golf ball sized fruits are the sweetest tomatoes we've ever eaten. Yes, the green/red stripes are attractive (but not purple) and they make a peculiar-colored salsa, but they are delicious!

★★★★★ I got 5 for 5 to sprout.
By c j on January 21, 2024

It took a while to sprout, and it sprouted at different times. This is my favorite tasting tomato, so I grow them every year. However, this is my first time buying these seeds from Victory seeds. It was priced 50% cheaper than other places I ordered from in the past, so I am looking forward to see how they compare to last year's harvest.

★★★★★ GREAT, Meaty tomato
By CAB (Skagit valley in Washington state) on September 22, 2023

I bought these for the blight resistance.. We have a real problem with them where I live..Very wet most of the time and very chilly in the evening ..down to the low 50's over night even in the summer.. We get the cold mountain air every night.. GREAT for me but not so easy on the growing things..Anyhow…I can't have nuts or seeds for medical reasons.. I knew the green zebra was very easy to seed but not so good against blight.. This cross with the very disease resistant Black Krim and green zebra is a WINNER…It grew nicely even in this year of terrrrible drought here and I have very meaty…easy to skin and seed ..DELICIOUS tomatoes..I am definitely going to grow this every year from now on..PLease try these…They are great…and they are absolutely LOADED with fruit and still producing although that is about to come to an end.. I got my first frost a day ago..That is about a month early here in the Cascade mountain valley area…In the picture of the tomato plant you will see a post it is attached to ..I grew the plant along a fence ..That post is a total of 5 feet ABOVE the ground...So you know they can get at least 5 feet tall… Summary..THAT means the total thought on this tomato but in a much shorter version!! Lol.. IT IS GREAT…GROW IT EVERY YEAR.. LOVE IT.. Very meaty..Very good flavor…AND it is sooo cute!!

★☆☆☆☆ Poor Germination
By AJ on April 14, 2023

Out of 10 seeds, so far I am 0-8 for germination rates. 4 seeds using a damp paper towel on seed starting heat mat and 4 in seed starting mix.
