SKU: 4000341I use savory in everything: eggs, soup, steamed veggies, roasts, meatballs, whatever. I am very fortunate that it grows well in my garden. I just toss the seeds out and stand back. Once they germinate, they grow like little rockets. The flavor doesn't seem to diminish after flowering as far as I can tell, so I tend to let it set seed, then pull it and dry it. The dried leaves tend to take on a green tea aroma and they store very well. Their life cycle is quite short, so this is a good candidate for succession planting. They grow tall, but not very wide, so you can cram quite a few in a small space.
Beautiful, slender plant that has survived a very hot, dry summer. Tiny, beautiful flowers.
