The name Pepitas refers to the naked or hulless seeds (pepitas) that lack tough outer hulls, which makes them easy to prepare for eating. Oven-roasted with salt these seeds are a family tradition for the autumn evenings.
High yielding plants produce numerous uniform 9-12 pound fruit on disease-resistant vines. Beautiful orange fruit with decorate green stripes make such a statement when used decoratively around the home. A "must grow" for 2023.
