All pumpkins in this blend are edible and excellent baked. These are good to display for fall ornaments, and then after their use as decorations are done, you then eat them!

Planting Instructions:
After all danger of frost is passed and the weather has warmed, plant four to five seeds, 1 inch deep, in hills spaced 6 feet apart. When seedlings are 2 inches tall, thin to 2 plants per hill. Pumpkins prefer rich soil. Feed at planting time and again at the 4 to 5 leaf development stage.
Keep watered during the dry weather and cultivate or mulch to reduce weeds. Harvest fruit when skin has turned completely orange and it cannot be easily dented with your fingernail. Cut from vine leaving a two inch stem.

I planted half the pack and 2 seeds germinated. 1 did nothing and has since died off the other I got 1 little pumpkin. It is really cute and I was excited to get it. Would have been much happier if I got a lot of mini pumpkins. I have bumper crops this year of winter squash and pumpkin planted in May. I haven't planted out my Fall crops yet. Will plant rest of pack and hopefully will get some mini pumpkins.
