SKU: 3310111My favorite way to eat these is to cut off the top and remove the seeds. Then stuff with a bit of fresh mozzarella and brush with olive oil. Grill until the peppers begin to soften and the cheese starts to melt. Makes a great summer appetizer. I also slice a few of these and add to my bread and butter pickles.
When green, the taste reminds me a lot of the Anaheim chili. They still haven't ripened on my plant, so I'm not sure what they taste like ripe. My only complaint is that they don't seem to be nearly as productive as on my purple beauty and California wonder pepper plants, including the one that I allow the peppers to ripen on. I have only gotten 3 peppers even though the plant was transplanted 4 months ago.
