I purchased a purple bell pepper and got these instead, but they still turned out to be a good pepper. Flavorful either in a salad or in fresh salsa. They are medium hot, but still tolerable to the taste. One item of note: The plants have a tendency to want to grow horizontal and spread out. I had to stake these up to keep them off the ground. However they are a massive producer. Once the fruits start to grow and reach maturity, they ripen very fast so you will need to keep them picked frequently.

Purchased one packet of seeds in January 2024, now I have purple bell peppers. The package says Italian Pepperoncini, but the plant says otherwise.

Once these plants started producing I got really excited because the plants were just LOADED. I was able to pick an entire plant at once and pickled them. The plants then grew tons more! I'll be growing twice as much this year so that I can pickle for gifts. They were amazing!
