French Breakfast
20 days — 'French Breakfast' radishes, one of the most popular varieties, are oblong in shape with a blunt tip. Their skin is scarlet colored with white tips. They have crisp, white flesh and a great, mildly pungent flavor. 'French Breakfast' is a very old variety dating back to a commercial introduction date prior to the 1880s. Each packet contains three grams, which is approximately 220 seeds.
Planting Instructions:
Radishes are generally very easy to grow. They are best when sown in spring or late summer but with care can be planted from February to September. Plant small amounts, 5 to 7 days apart for a steady supply.
Plant seeds directly outdoors as soon as soil can be worked. Plant ½ inch deep, ½ inch apart in rows at least 8 inches apart. Firm soil and keep moist until seedlings appear. Radishes have shallow root systems so do keep them watered.
Harvest as soon as roots reach desired size.

These radishes are so easy to grow and they are delicious! We shared them with neighbors and they were very impressed! I was actually able to grow another crop of them in September and they did great! Definitely growing them again in the spring.

I was so excited this year with such a beautiful bumper crop of these French Breakfast radishes. I can hardly wait to harvest more of them. They keep well for days in the refrigerator too. I love these radishes.

Amazingly fast and simple crop! Unique shape makes for easy slicing. Mild to the point kids love it. Great sauted or steamed. One of my favorite radishes!
