★★★★★ Great germination
By RoseGardener (California) on October 10, 2024

I grow the seeds both indoors hydroponically as well direct sow in the soil outdoors. They all germinated. The grow rate is slower than other herbs, however succession planting is the prefect way to go with these.

★★☆☆☆ Do Not recommend

Planted the seed packet in a container indoors but ended up with wild radish (weed) instead. Only 6 plants out of the entire packet was Chervil the rest was weed. Customer service was very good and they are going to send me a replacement. I have to see if the new package is weed free.

★★★★☆ As advertized

Germinated well when direct seeded in April - maybe 100%. It was a cold and wet spring this year and it took a while for the ten plants spaced 6 to thin to 12 but by then the remaining plants took off. The three I have left in late June are in the shade of some cherry tomatoes and still producing enough for garnish. Tastes more like anise/fennel than parsley. Will grow again.
