110 days — Its pumpkins are large, averaging fifteen to twenty pounds, and are globe shaped, flattened on the ends. They are typically twelve inches in height and diameter. The rind is hard but thin and slightly ribbed.

The flesh is sweet, thick and course. Can be planted among your cornfield and used for canning or as stock feed. This Native American heirloom has a history predating 1700. Each packet contains four grams, which is approximately 20 to 24 seeds.
Planting Instructions: After all danger of frost is passed and the weather has warmed, plant four to five seeds, 1 inch deep, in hills spaced 6 feet apart. When seedlings are 2 inches tall, thin to 2 plants per hill. Pumpkins prefer rich soil. Feed at planting time and again at the 4 to 5 leaf development stage.

Keep watered during the dry weather and cultivate or mulch to reduce weeds. Harvest fruit when skin has turned completely orange and it cannot be easily dented with your fingernail. Cut from vine leaving a two inch stem.

Perfect germ, no pest or disease problems. Be warned: without daily training, they will take over (trust me). Prolific to the point of insanity; largest fruits well over 25 lbs. Harden off and store as well as Boston Marrow. Fruits are classic shape and very uniform within weight category. A keeper if ever there was one.
