Big Rainbow
90 days, indeterminate — 'Big Rainbow' will require staking or caging. It easily grows to six feet in height here in Oregon. It is a moderate producer of huge (up to two pound), ribbed, beefsteak tomatoes that are golden fleshed marbled with red tones. They can be subject to cracks and cat-facing but their superb flavor and beautiful presentation keep them near the top of tomato growers lists of favorite varieties.
Although the origins of this old heirloom are unknown at this time, according to Dr. Carolyn Male, it is speculated that it has German roots.[1] Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
