The
brush is gentle (will not damage tender kernels) and is easy to
clean. The sturdy polyethylene
bristles are three-side in a pyramid-shaped for scrubbing power.
The
original design was as a surgeon's scrub brush and widely used in
hospitals. Can be easily cleaned by rinsing or in the top
rack of your dishwasher as the material that they are made out of
will not absorb dirt or water.
This design of shears date back to at least the 18th century. Made by the Hangzhou
Zhang Xiaoquan Scissors Factory which has been
manufacturing fine scissors since 1663. They are great for historical re-enactors, living historians or everyday use. They are made of carbon steel, very sharp and hold an edge well.
The smaller sized shears are compact and great for sewing, bonsai and floral snipping. The blades measure 1-1/2 inches. Overall length is four inches.
The larger sized shears (see picture above) have three inch blades and an overall length of about eight inches.

Tips for Brewing
the Perfect Cup of Tea
Start with fresh, cold water.
Heat to a rolling boil in a glass
or steel kettle.
Pre-heat your brewing vessel,
whether cup or teapot, with some of your boiling water.
Measure out a teaspoon of tea per
cup and "one for the pot".
Pour the boiling water over the
tea and steep for 5 minutes (or to taste).
That is it for me. Plain,
straight, hot tea so that the unadulterated flavor can be
enjoyed. Others like cream and sugar, others, honey and lemon.
These 3-1/2 inch long, finished
wood and natural bristle brushes, are perfect for gently removing the signs of your gardening activities
from your hands.
