Centaurea
is excellent for beds, borders and as cut flowers. It is hardy and
blooms in May through summer if planted in early spring.
Prefers
sunny, well-drained location. 12 to 36 inches in height. Also known as 'Bachelor Buttons' and 'Bluebonnet', Cornflower is native to Europe and found growing wild in grain ("corn") fields, hence the name. |
